We went to Central for dinner but arrived just in time for a spectacular performance at the riverside. It was not exactly crowded for a Saturday night given the magnitude of the event. I had certainly seen worst. We probably missed a good part of the boat parade but were there to see the bright and colourful boats ferried in the dancers in rich exotic costumes. I captured some of the moments on my AVC video blog (User ID 100015).

The dancers hurried final touches on their make up and started parading up to the open air stage just in front of Central. An hour-long music, dance drama, even puppetry followed suit. It was a very good production. A visual feast in a fitting surrounding. I am not exactly a historian but I supposed the dance drama portrayed the legend of Sang Nila Utama and his journey to Singapore.

With the construction works cleared, good spaces for visitors, and a well organized event in a pleasant evening like this.. Clarke Quay has progressed.

AVC managed to squeeze in some interview time with our Video DJ Adele this morning. Here’s what happened.

Hi Adele, thanks for taking some time off your busy schedule to do this interview. Are you ready? Here’s my first question.

Question 1:
Everyone out there is asking. Are you single and available?
Adele:
Must I really answer this? *twirling hair* Well, you know, busy girl with busy schedule. I wish someone out there can whisk me away from everything and bring me somewhere nice and romantic. *giggles*

Question 2:
How long have you been modelling?
Adele:
That’s for me to know and for all you out there to find out! *winks* Well this would be my first time doing something on video mobile.

Question 3:
What kind of guys do you fall for?
*Giggles* The knight-in-shining-armour. Oh, and he must be intelligent too.

Question 4:
Can you share with us your worst date ever?
Adele:
It was a perfect evening and he seemed nice. As we were sharing a delicious sexy steak, he confessed to me that he’s vegetarian. *Gasp!*

Question 5:
How was the AVC video shoot?
Adele:
It was HOT! no, SUPER HOT! and sticky.. woohoo! You should have been there!

Question 6:
Ok final question. What will you think of a guy who wants to get to know you through AVC?
Adele:
Ask me again when that happens ya? *Giggles* I don’t know. It depends. Of course he has to catch my attention. He has to be sweet, charming and intelligent all at the same time.

1. Access AVC by making a 3G video call to 1900‐914‐8221.

3. When the video call is connected, you will see a welcome message followed by the Main Menu. Press 1 at the Main Menu and you will see the RAWclipx contest logo on the top left corner. Press 1 again and you be at the RAWclipx contest portal page. To start recording your video, Press 3. You can press 1 to stop recording or the recording will end automatically when it reaches 3 minutes. After that, you can choose to review (playback) the recorded video, delete or send the recording. When you choose send, the video is automatically uploaded.
