About
AVC (Asia Video Club) is a regional mobile video social networking community. It is accessible via 3G video call. The service is already available in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.
AVC users call a local telephone number to access the service. There is no registration required. When calling for the first time, a personal “home page” will be created for the user. The user could record a video profile and video blogs. The user could also visit other users’ home pages to view their video profiles and blogs.
To communicate with another user, a user simply leaves (records) a video message at the other user’s home page. When there is a new message, the user will receive a SMS notification. Through the service, a user could send and receive video messages between Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia at local call charges.
There are other features such as Video Forums (Video Chat Rooms) and Video Portals for users to participate and explore.
