1st November is World Vegan Day 2008, organised by the Vegan Society. On this day, there will be activities happening around the world, advocating living free off animals products for the benefit of the people’s health, animals and the planet.

Our local Vegetarian place, Food #03 , participates through their Guest Chef Programme. Guest Chef Halimah will be offering Vegan Cupcakes, made from Butter-free ad Egg-Free ingredients. These cupcakes are available: chocolate-vanilla, green tea, mango and coconut-lime.

We can see the cows and the chickens around the world nodding in approval, as well as the lactose-intolerant guys.

It’s great to be here to blog about myself and what I’m currently doing behind the scene of Delcie’s Desserts.

Just a little introduction, I’m the pastry chef a.k.a Pâtissier, the art director, the financial controller as well as the business developer for Delcie’s Desserts

The name, Delcie, was given by my mom since birth. It was such a coincidence that when I did a looked up on Babynameworld.com, Delcie means “sweet” in Latin. So, as a brand name for my desserts business, I believe it will be able to run for years and people will still be able to associate it to sweets and cakes.
